Christmas is a golden time for food lovers. It’s the season for feasting with friends and family. Ibiza is famous for its heartwarming Christmas traditions. On this special Christmas Food Tour, on December 27th, you will be getting a feel for this lovely holiday – Ibiza-style. While our guide takes you through the old town of Ibiza, you will hear beautiful stories about Christmas on Ibiza and the special Spanish traditions.

The Christmas Food Tour allows you to immerse yourself in the authentic Spanish Christmas experience. On Thursday the 27th of December we start the tour in the marina area where for 1000`s of years its been the centre for business and trading. We begin in a local wine shop where you will taste locally grown wine and liquers from Ibiza.

We will then move onto a small restaurant tasting locally sourced produce. After this we walk through the “new town” visiting the oldest bakery on Ibiza where we will try the typical Salsa de Nadal which is unique to Ibiza, then a tasting jamons and cheeses, a wonderful tea shop in the backstreets where you will drink a herbal tea infusion created especially for the food tour. We visit a traditional pinxto bar and then taste locally produced wine. Finally ending the tour with visiting the Christmas market and taste the typical ‘Churros & Chocolate’.

The tour lasts between 4 – 4 1/2 hours and you will taste a mixture of sweet and savoury food & drinks, the tour is all inclusive including wine, beer, water, food & tapas.

Please do not eat before as you will have plenty of food!
