Short and Sweet Walk – Cala Conta – Wednesday February 4 at 10.30AUTHOR: Toby Clarke // CATEGORY: Community Walks No Comments
We’ve got a wonderful list of walks this week and we hope to see as many of you as possible on all four of them!
Beginning with our extremely popular Short & Sweet Walk – now every Wednesday – led by my lovely mum Sheila on February 4, we’ll set off from beautiful Cala Conta and explore stunning hidden beaches then head along the coastline to the famous pirate tower before venturing back through lush green forest.
This area is spectacular and the walk is perfect for those who prefer a shorter expedition with maximum enjoyment. There will of course be delicious homemade cake and tea at the end to reward you all. Yum!
We set off from Sunset Ashram, Cala Conta at 10.30 on Wednesday February 4.
MEETING POINT: Sunset Ashram

This walk is approximately 5km and takes around two hours. It’s a very flat walk on good paths with no hills although there are some loose stones underfoot.
What to bring:
a small backpack for:
– lots of water
– snacks to keep you going
– good footwear that has been worn in.
– rain jacket (just in case)
The walks are by donation (suggested €10 per person) or what you feel the guided walk is worth to you. Or very happy to do exchanges….or jars of marmalade, dark chocolate….hugs…everything appreciated!
DOGS: If you have a lovely well trained dog please bring them along. They will need to be on a lead at certain points.
INSURANCE: I have liability insurance, but your safety is your responsibility and you must ensure you are covered by medical insurance prior to coming on the walk.
KNOW A WALK? I am also looking for guest guides, so if you know a suitable walk for a group please let me know and help lead a walk!
Let me know if you have any questions.
Love and hugs
