Community walks all year around!
Everyone is welcome on our community walks. All the walks are very friendly and its a great way to meet old friends and make new ones, the aim of the walks is to show you the beautiful side of Ibiza, the parts you would otherwise not see and along the way, hear stories from the guide along with some history, foraging and other interesting facts about the island.
If you are thinking of moving here or want to meet those who are living here to get a more local perspective however, this is a good way to mine for information!
Always check the Facebook page for locations, times and difficulty levels – plus photos of the walks you may have been captured in previously!
The donation for this walk is 10€. Dogs are also welcome to come and sometimes Cosmo, the dog of Toby Clarke, will come along as well.
Winter season times
Being on Ibiza in winter, you get to see the slightly less crazy months of the year, when winter sets in and the holidaymakers have gone home. This is one of the nicest times of year to walk here in Ibiza and get to know those who live here, when they are less busy working.
All year we have the very popular Short & Sweet walks which are about 5 km’s and 2 hours followed by Sheila’s (Toby’s Mum) home made cake and tea, a great community affair! Almost all these walks are led by Sheila!
All year we have the Classic Friday walks at 10am which are about 10km’s and 4 hours, very often followed by lunch in a local restaurant. This is the original weekly walk Toby started in 2011! These walks are led by Toby and also other Walking Ibiza guides
The Sunday Social is new for 2017, a great 3-4 hour walk led by Stivi (a long time Walking Ibiza guide and Ibiza resident) which are about having a great Sunday in great company, whilst exploring different parts of the magical island!
Summer season times
The Wednesday walks move to the late afternoon / evening and include wine and cheese and the Friday walks move to a sunset walk weekly.
Due to the sunset changing through the season please check the calendar and Facebook page for the latest information, or add yourself to the weekly newsletter below which includes all the information.
