It’s the first Friday walk of 2015 and we want this to be the best year ever so let’s start it by showing gratitude to the wonderful Goddess of the island we call home! We’ll be taking the original route that pilgrims have walked for thousands of years to the shrine of Tanit and along the way, you’ll witness where wayfarers used to wash so they were absolutely sparkling clean when they made their offering. You too of course can also leave an offering to Tanit – we’re sure she’d appreciate it….
We set off on Friday January 2 at 10.00 from the beach at Cala San Vicente.

What better way to get ourselves ready for a healthy and prosperous 2015 than an enlightening walk from one of the most beautiful beaches on Ibiza. On this special trek on the last day of the year we’ll visit a wise stone man who you can ask for guidance for the year ahead, hence helping to set your intentions for 2015.
We’ll also get to experience some amazing views from the top of Cap Nuno – could this be an ancient pyramid? – and finishing with… well you’ve have to wait and see won’t you? Needless to say we’ll be ending this year with a bang.

Merry Christmas everybody! This Saturday we’re going on an expedition to see an incredible sculpture of our maker. Through old paths and fruit groves, we’ll make our way to the little know Christo (Christ) statue.
This huge statue of our Lord could be taken straight from the scene of the famous landmark in South America and is guaranteed to leave a huge impression. You’ll hardly be able to believe your eyes…The statue of Christ the Redeemer is the same as the larger one that stands over the famous Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and was constructed by a Bishop who fled to the hills and evaded capture during the civil war. As a thank you to Christ who protected him he had the statue built.
We set off at 10.30am on Saturday 27 December from Bar Cruz, San Rafael.

This week we’re taking a historical route back in time in the very beautiful zone of San Carlos.
Beginning at the village church, this special route will lead us on a path of discovery; from seeing what a typical traditional farmhouse and farm would have looked like a few hundred years ago, to a host of age-old hidden gems, the odd animal and as always, learning lots of fascinating facts along the way.
Meeting at San Carlos church in the heart of San Carlos, we’ll begin our walk from there before making our way through some of Ibiza’s beautiful countryside to get to the stunning Cala Mastella beach, where we stop for a little rest and snack. We’ll then carry on discovering more stunning countryside and eventually finish back where we started, opposite the famous Bar Anita… guess where we’re going for a well-deserved drink and something to eat after the walk!?!
We’ll meet at 11am on Saturday 13 December outside San Carlos Church, San Carlos.
