This week we explore some truly magical places – each stunning and exceptional in their own way.
Setting off from the beautiful beach of San Miguel, my lovely daughter Gem will lead you on an adventure full of interesting facts and magical viewpoints.
Our journey of some of the island’s wonders will culminate in exploring an ancient pirate tower – a poignant landmark of the island’s history – then it’s on to a gorgeous and very special beach to have a cooling November swim (if you dare!).
We set off at 11.00am on Saturday 6 December from San Miguel beach.

Walking Ibiza is extremely excited to announce a new adventure for our younger trekkers – Walking Ibiza Kids!
Beginning this Sunday and led by my lovely daughter Gem, Walking Ibiza Kids will take their first steps as fully fledged walkers in a special search for treasure when we piece together clues on an epic expedition through precious landscapes to the famous ‘Lost City’! Firstly we’ll do some face painting – no adventure is complete without looking like a monster or an animal, right?! – then we’ll be 100% ready for tons of fun, history and a brilliant treasure hunt as we set off on a journey through time.
We’ll meet at Sa Cova Bodega then walk through stunning countryside, arriving at an incredible, historical and remote location where the Moors fled to evade attack in the 1200s – something that will fascinate both adults and children alike. We’ll also discover the ‘Great Wall´ of Ibiza built by the Moors in the same period and much, much, MUCH more!
ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN.
We’ll set off from Sa Cova Bodega on Sunday 23 November at 10.00

This week we do a special walk discovering lots of hidden and beautiful places that all you lovers and romantics at heart will particularly enjoy. Led again by my wonderful daughter Gem, this journey will begin in the sandy car park in front of the Mariner’s bar at the estuary to the river. We’ll head to the nearby ‘Lovers Bridge’ where it’s customary to bring a padlock and lock it to the bridge – while you’re with your partner of course. This is said to symbolise the longevity and security of your relationship. Aww…
We’ll also head to a secret tunnel and some magical view-points where we’ll stop and have lunch. Bring a picnic!
